In preparation for an upcoming X2Engine software release in two weeks, Richard, Tony and I headed up the coast a few miles to make a short “About X2Engine” video. The idea was to hopefully capture both the spirit of X2Engine the software company but also our beautiful local Santa Cruz surroundings. Its a limited time, low budget, GoPro video project but I think it turned out alright.
It is not every day you wake up being front page news! Thank you to Jondi Gumz and Dan Coyro at the Santa Cruz Sentinel for writing this great article about X2Engine CRM and our meet-up event this evening. We have always been proud to be based in Santa Cruz and it is a real honor to be a feature story.
This time of year, it’s all work….very little play. I am already looking forward to the warm days of summer.
I was able to repurpose a touring pic of my RSV4 into ad for X2Engine. I think it works.
These past few weeks have flown by. I’ve been spending most of my time moving X2Engine into and our new long term offices in the Santa Cruz, University Town Center building. Matthew, Jake and I drove up the coast to Davenport for breakfast yesterday morning. On our drive back we debated…if you had the opportunity to be born 150 years ago vs. being born today…which time wold you choose?
After releasing X2Engine beta I took my engineering team out for an open ocean sail. Nothing makes me imagine a better planet more than an open ocean sailboat adventure. Big ocean, small boat… I don’t care, I’m sailing to unknown waters….and that for me is what life is all about.
It has been over 15 months in the making, but last week I finally released the first beta of X2Engine, a new open source, sales management application. I have been pretty excited with the initial press coverage. The software is quickly making its way onto Linux servers across the planet. Good thing we translated it into six languages. Checkout the site and take the demo server for a spin if you can. Thanks everyone for your great feedback – stay tuned!!
