I stumbled across this video on the web a few days ago – Wired.com. Stock in my mind, not sure why. With climate change putting more preasure on our planets fresh water supply – I could see this becoming a reality in the next fifty years. With these five new ‘organs’ you can reduce your daily water intake from 2,500ML to 165ML per day. Put another way, with this device you would need less than 10% of your daily water intake. Very cool idea.
Last Friday – the 13th, was my last of ten track days at Laguna Seca this year. It was a beautiful day in Monterey and by mid-afternoon the sun warmed up the track providing excellent tire grip. Richard on his new Daytona675 and myself riding a Yamaha R6 had an awesome day indeed.
I am in awe of these new America’s Cup boats – incredibly fast, incredibly beautiful. Thanks to Mr. Ellison, sailing is now exciting again and hopefully this is just the begining of a new era. For the best American commentary see, SailingAnarchy.com.
